Jeffrey Wooten has always been a "Photo-tactic Creative," searching for light both literally and figuratively. At an early age, Jeffrey was honored by the U.S. Congress (District 6) for his artwork that was showcased in the halls of Congress.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Philosophy & Religion at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. While studying abroad at Oxford, Jeffrey fell in love with the European influences of cinematography.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Jeffrey pursued the Foundation Film program at the Vancouver Film School. There he developed his love of lighting and photography while producing both a documentary and dramatic short films. He served as the Director of the documentary (Yeastie Boys), and Director of Photography and Editor of the Leo Award Winning dramatic short (Toe Tag Special).
After Film School, Jeffrey went on to a career in Hollywood media production: Industrial, Print Publication, Reality Television, Web Series and Feature Films. From transportation, lighting, camera operating, cinematography, Chyron Graphics, production office support, executive assistance, production coordinating, development and ultimately writing and producing (Below the Beltway).
In the last decade, Jeffrey returned to Texas from Hollywood to attend his family's business after his father's passing. This creative sabbatical, now complete, re-energized him to focus his energies on his first love: Seeking light in the pursuit of capturing #AuthenticMagic.
